UCEED 2025 IIT-Bombay Releases Exam Schedule, Registration Starts Today

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-Bombay releases exam schedule) for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025, with registration beginning today at 1 PM on the official website— uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on January 19, from 9 AM to noon, in a single shift.

IIT-Bombay releases exam schedule for UCEED 2025 with registration open until October 31 without late fees. Candidates can also register until November 8 with late fees. To be eligible, candidates from the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL categories should have been born on or after October 1, 2000, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1995.

According to the information brochure, “A candidate must have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 to be eligible for UCEED 2025. Students from all streams (science, commerce, and humanities) can apply. Candidates who appeared for their qualifying exam (Class 12) in 2023 or earlier are not eligible.”

A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years, and the score is valid for only one year. Students from all educational backgrounds can apply.

  1. Visit the official website – uceed.iitb.ac.in and click on the registration link.
  2. Fill in basic information such as name, mobile number, and email ID to receive login credentials.
  3. Using the login details, complete the personal details form, including academic information, exam center, and document uploads.
  4. Pay the registration fee, submit the form, and print a copy for future reference.

The UCEED 2025 exam, conducted under the guidance of the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee 2024, is a gateway to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs at IITs across 27 cities in India.
