TEDxMithibaiCollege is an independent organisation led by the students of Mithibai College supporting the idea of TED of “Ideas worth spreading”. This years theme being panoramic perspective- more than what meets the eye, these talks will change your life.
First Pre-Event with Prakhar Gupta TEDx is an independently organized event with a mission to discover “Ideas worth Spreading” and TEDxMithibaiCollege aims to use this platform to convey these ideas to every listening ear.
This year, our team planned a unique and thought-provoking pre-event called ‘Connecting the Dots’ on the 15th of December, 2022; with a popular Indian Youtuber, content creator, author and podcaster; Prakhar Gupta. His core content revolves around psychology, intriguing philosophical ideologies, and personality development.
Prakhar Gupta collaborated with us to host an immersive podcast-style discussion that enriched our thoughts with candid answers and practical advice that filled the venue with applause and marked the start of many amazing events that we hope to organise. We learned about his journey from Faridabad to New York. He shared his ‘Panoramic Perspective’ on life, discussing everything from Indian parenting to finding your calling and dreaming big.
Considering all the guesses from multiple inquisitive minds, our theme for this year was revealed in our first pre-event, ‘Panoramic Perspective’. We are frequently trapped in our own one-dimensional perspectives and parochial mindsets, which limit our ability to move beyond, towards the wealth of wisdom available in this world, breaking rigid ideologies. There is much more to life than meets the eye, and that is precisely what we intend to discover. This year, we offer our viewers the opportunity to see the world in its entirety, much like enjoying a panoramic view of the world, by peering into the brilliant minds of a diverse range of experts who will share their experiences and open our minds to new possibilities.
