TCS InQuizitive 2022; won by 16-year-old student championship trophy

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the winners of the National Finals of inter-school quiz competition ‘TCS InQuizitive’ on November 26,2022. Mustafa Ahmed from Sri Chaitanya Junior Kalasala, Hyderabad, won the national championship title.

The initial rounds for TCS InQuizitive 2022 were held virtually while the semi-final and national finals were conducted physically. The competition saw over 12,000 participants from classes 8 to 12 across India. In the national finals, six students selected from the initial rounds competed for the title of the national champion.

The quiz aims to enable students from class 8 to 12 to take a holistic approach to technology. Christopher Joseph from Naipunnya Public School, Ernakulam, Kochi was the runner-up to the national championship and took home a trophy, memento, and gift vouchers.

Giri Balasubramaniam, was the quizmaster for this edition of TCS InQuizitive. The quiz was curated to help students understand technological revolution through discussions and questions. Students will be updated with the technological developments in various fields like science, sports, engineering, and art.

TCS, chief financial officer, Samir Seksaria, said: “In today’s digital economy, technology know-how and skills are extremely crucial. TCS has been a proud proponent of digital literacy through a variety of knowledge initiatives including TCS InQuizitive. Leveraging a gamified approach, we are engaging with the future change makers of the country. The response from the student community to TCS InQuizitive is encouragement enough for us to keep up with our digital literacy mission.”
