Delhi University To Close Seat Acceptance Window Against Spot Round Two Admission Today

The University of Delhi will close the seat acceptance window against the spot admissions for undergraduate (UG) programmes today, December 4. Colleges are required to verify and approve the online applications by December 5 (4:59 pm), the last date to pay the online admission fees is December 6, 2022.

“It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a spot round. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will forfeit the candidate’s eligibility for admission to UoD and she/he will be out of CSAS,” stated a DU spot admission 2022 notification.

DU Admissions 2022 Spot Round: How to accept allotted seat?

In order to accept seats, the registered students need to visit the official website- admission.uod.ac.in. Log in with the application number and password, candidates must accept the allotted seat with details. Save the confirmation page, download and take a printout for further reference.

8,692 candidates allocated seats

The seat acceptance window was opened on November 24. According to the data shared by the varsity, as many as 8,692 candidates have been allocated seats in the first spot round. 349 students took admission in the first spot round. According to DU, the students who got their seats and took admission in the spot admission round will not be allowed to upgrade or withdraw their UG seats.

The university has made it mandatory for the candidates to take admission in the spot admission round. The candidates if failed to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will be out of CSAS. The seat allocated to the candidates is final and they will not be allowed to upgrade seats in any subsequent round of spot admission. The university declared the vacant seat list for the first spot round on November 20.
