The Dalton’s Village: A Sweet Rustic Riverside Homestay In Tirthan Valley!

Wake up early in the morning to the sound of a rooster crowing and lovely fresh air around.

Tirthan Valley is often referred to as Himachal’s best-kept secret and there’s more than just one reason to justify that. It’s an offbeat destination located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh which happens to derive its name from the Tirthan river and is often overlooked at by travellers. But, we’ve discovered that Tirthan is just the perfect getaway for an upcoming long weekend and also found a beautiful homestay for you to stay in.

The Dalton’s Village is a rustic riverside homestay in the valley that you’ll fall in love with at first sight. Even though some of you might call yourselves workaholics, you would still want to enjoy a peaceful and laid back weekend every once in a while. At this homestay, you can do exactly that. The vibe of the The Dalton’s Village and its surrounding area is so serene that it almost feels like you’ve retired and moved to the hills.

Here you will actually look forward to waking up early in the morning to the sound of the rooster (Mr James) crowing and lovely fresh air around. There is also a pretty stream flowing next to the stay, which adds to the spectacular view.

The homestay advocates a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle, so their rooms are made with mud and rock, finished with dung plaster and painted brown with red mud paint. The owners have also decorated the place with lots of loving green plants. Their Earth Room stays naturally cool in summers and warm during winters.

There is an amazing waterfall flowing intoastreamright in front of the cottage.

Bookmark the next long weekend and head to Tirthan Valley to stay at this relaxing homestay!
