PM Modi’s chemistry with opposition leaders at all party meet to discuss G20 India Presidency

The Centre on Monday held an all-party meeting to discuss the aspects of India’s presidency of the G20, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Along with other leaders, opposition leaders actively participated in the meeting, including chief ministers and party leaders.

Even though the discussion covered a variety of topics related to India’s G20 presidency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rapport with opposition figures caught everyone’s attention.

In a video posted by ANI, PM Modi could be seen interacting with opposition leaders from all parties by shaking hands, talking, and smiling.

PM Modi said during the meeting that India’s G20 Presidency belongs to the entire country and is a special chance to exhibit the world India’s strengths.

The potential of India’s G20 Presidency was further highlighted by the Prime Minister, who also noted that there is current interest and fascination around the world with India.

Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, praised Modi on securing the G-20 presidency and urged him to take advantage of the chance to advance India’s interests, prevent China from conducting border incursions, and balance trade with the country.

According to opposition sources, certain opposition figures, including Sitaram Yechury and D Raja of the Left, pointed out that India’s assumption of the presidency came about through a process of rotation and argued it shouldn’t be seen as a success for the administration.

According to official sources, the prime minister stated that India’s G-20 presidency belongs to the entire nation and not just one person.

According to a statement on the prime minister’s remarks at the meeting, Modi said that there is a current worldwide fascination with and attraction to India, which further enhances the potential of the occasion.

He emphasised the value of cooperation and asked all leaders for their support in planning the various G-20 events, according to the statement.

Modi noted that the G-20 presidency would highlight parts of India outside of the typical big metropolises and highlight the distinctiveness of various regions of the country. The G-20 is a grouping of the world’s 20 major economies.

Modi highlighted the potential for promoting tourism and bolstering the local economies of the locations where the G-20 meetings would be held, noting that a sizable number of visitors would be coming to India during the year-long events.

At a BJP gathering earlier in the day, the prime minister had also emphasised the significance of the occasion and said that every citizen should be pleased with the outcome.
