The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the results and final answer key of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2023, today, June 13. Candidates can conveniently access their NEET UG scorecard at neet.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in. However, it’s important to note that the NTA has not yet made an official announcement regarding the exact date and time of the NEET UG 2023 result declaration.
The NEET UG results will provide detailed information such as the rank list, category-wise cut-off marks, and the names of the top scorers from all over India. To check their NEET UG 2023 result, applicants will need to utilize their NEET 2023 application number and date of birth.
Candidates who qualify for the NEET UG exam will be required to participate in the counseling process. This exam is conducted to fill 15 percent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, and it also determines admission to 100 percent of seats in deemed universities. Moreover, the NEET UG result will be used for admissions to BVSc and AH courses under the 15 percent quota of the Veterinary Council of India in recognized Veterinary Colleges.
Steps to check the NEET UG 2023 result:
Step 1: Visit neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the NEET UG result link.
Step 3: Provide the necessary details and complete the security captcha to log in.
Step 4: The NEET UG 2023 scorecard will be displayed on your screen.
Step 5: Double-check the accuracy of your personal information, such as your name and exam venue.
If there are any discrepancies in the result, students can contact the NTA for resolution. The National Testing Agency will allocate full marks for correct answers, deduct one mark for each incorrect answer, and award zero marks for unanswered questions.
Please note that there is no provision for re-evaluation of the NEET UG answer sheets. The final answer key represents the conclusive decisions made by the National Testing Agency. Candidates had the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key for NEET UG, but the objection window closed on June 6. The decisions made by the expert committee of the NTA regarding the raised objections cannot be further contested.
