At Chandigarh's Govt College of Education, a value-added course is being offered.

A variety of interactive workshops covering important life skills including leadership, time management, problem-solving, and stress management made up the course, which ran from May 17 to May 24.

The skill development committee of the organisation organised a 30-hour value-added course on “Capacity building of prospective teachers on applied skills” at Government College of Education, Sector 20. The training was designed to help participants grow personally and professionally.

Nemi Chand, the state liaison officer for the National Service Scheme, was welcomed by principal Sapna Nanda. Chand thanked the principal and the organising team, which included Neelam Paul, Kusum, Ravneet Chawla, Aarti Bhatt, Upasna Thapliyal, and Sanjeev Kumar. Balwinder Kaur was the team’s leader of the skill development committee. In order to realise their full potential and succeed in both their personal and professional life, he applauded the participants and urged them to keep using the skills they had acquired during the curriculum.

Participants acquired important information and useful skills that will enable them to face obstacles and accomplish their objectives. They were urged to participate fully, openly discuss their personal stories, and use what they had learned to improve their daily lives.

Principal Sapna Nanda expressed her gratitude to the organisational team and the students for taking part in the training course. Participants Shachi and Isha shared testimonies and thanked the program’s organisers near the end of the session. The training program’s coordinator, Balwinder Kaur, gave a vote of gratitude to the visitors.
