Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrate their first Diwali with 9-month-old daughter, see pics

Like many other Indian festivals, Diwali calls for lavish celebrations with close family and friends.

As much as we are engrossed in the celebrations and making the most of them, so are our favourite celebrities.

All the celebrities celebrated Diwali in grand style, from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. Actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas joined the trend by preserving Indian rituals in their American house.

The couple posted images from their “wonderful” Los Angeles celebration, where they were joined by their nine-month-old daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, on Instagram. The trio dressed in matching cultural wear, embracing Indian culture via their design choices, and the images will astound you.

In the first picture, Nick was seen holding Malti as the trio posed for the photo, leaving us swooning over them.

The second image shows Malti sitting on Priyanka’s knee with her small hand wrapped around her father’s finger as she performed puja. The baby’s face was hidden in both images by a heart emoji.

Priyanka paired a net cape with a beige sharara outfit that featured intricate embroidery. Malti looked gorgeous in an ethnic costume of the same colour as Nick, who wore a beige kurta and matching pants combination with silk embroidery.

Such a lovely Diwali celebration with my loved ones, I thought.

Happy Diwali to everybody! I’m sending you all happiness and light, Nick captioned the picture.

The couple announced the arrival of their daughter in January of this year with the following statement: “We are pleased to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.” We politely request your understanding as we focus on our family during this precious time.
