International enrollment at universities in Dubai is increasing 12% yearly.

According to a recent infographic published by the KHDA, there are more than 30,000 students currently enrolled in university programmes.

According to recent data released by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the number of students enrolled in international higher education institutions there has increased 8% annually. Additionally, by now making up nearly a third of all students, international students are now more likely to choose Dubai to complete their higher education.

According to a recent infographic published by the KHDA, there are more than 30,000 students currently enrolled in university programmes.

The KHDA released a landscape infographic with detailed information on Dubai’s higher education market, including information on foreign higher education providers, students, programmes, professors, and research areas.

For the first time, data on graduates revealed that more than 80% of students in Dubai who received their higher education degrees in the last two academic years were either employed or enrolled in additional courses.

In the past three academic years, international universities have added 21% more programmes, with business, engineering, and information technology degrees proving to be the most well-liked among foreign students and Emiratis. Among motivated students, the top three programmes are business, media studies, and information technology.

According to data from the current academic year, 60% of students are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, 30% are pursuing a Master’s degree, and 2% are pursuing a PhD. Almost 80% of all enrolled students are enrolled full-time.

According to Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of KHDA, Dubai’s status as a top location for international higher education continues to grow. More foreign students are choosing to study in Dubai due to the city’s growing number of international campuses and the variety of available programmes.

This development demonstrates the institutions’ dedication to creating a higher education system that is truly of the world’s best calibre. We are eager to collaborate with university presidents to strengthen Dubai’s standing as a regional and global centre for higher learning.
