On the sets of O P Rallhan’s “Bandhe Haath” (1973), everything was happening—difficult work, tension, excellent performances, enjoyment, anxiety—all the typical feelings one has when working with others to make a picture with enthusiasm. Amitabh Bachchan and Mumtaz played the key characters in the movie. “Amit ji had just recently begun his career at the time, but he was unique and dedicated to his trade.
