The Prime Minister did not stop there. He made a request to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker Harivansh sitting on the dais.

He said that in both the Houses of Parliament, when a member makes a speech in his mother tongue or a member interferes in a discussion, great words come out of the speech of many members or their interference in a discussion. A target has been set to include words from Indian languages in this dictionary. There is an inconvenience in the inclusion of words from Indian languages in the dictionary.

It is not accidental that the Prime Minister talks about making dictionaries of Indian languages in a meeting. For this, the responsible officers of both the houses of the Parliament are requested and on the other hand the Home Minister starts the initiative to update the Hindi dictionary.  It is also the government’s discharge of its responsibility towards the language and pride in its culture.

Every Indian citizen should join this campaign of pride on their culture and the coming generation should try to make contact with the dictionary and increase it.
